Smartz Notification App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Smartz Notification collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the Smartz Notification mobile application (“App”). This privacy policy applies to the App and all products and services offered by Smartz Operations Limited.

Our app does not collect any personal information from users. Users log in using accounts that were created externally (e.g., via our website), and no new personal data is collected or stored through the app itself. 

The app serves as an interface to access services linked to your existing account. Any information associated with your account is managed in accordance with our website’s privacy policy, where the account was originally created.

The App may collect certain non-personal information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of device being used, the device’s unique device identifier, the IP address of your device, operating system version, and other diagnostic data. This information is used solely for the purpose of improving the functionality and performance of the App.

The App uses location permissions to facilitate Bluetooth scanning purposes. This is essential for detecting and communicating with nearby Smartz pods. The location data collected is only used for Bluetooth scanning functionality and is not stored or shared.

Non-personal information collected by the App is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Smartz Notification does not share any user data with third parties. All data collected by the App is used solely for the purpose of improving the functionality and performance of the App and is not shared, sold, or distributed to any external parties.
